The location of this hotel is truly stunning, with a beautiful river just behind it and a front terrace where you can enjoy a cold beer. the refurbished hotel offers comfortable rooms with a theme of Greek heroes - we stayed in the Aristotle room with a lovely river view. the family that runs the hotel is warm and welcoming, and the food in the restaurant is absolutely delicious.
The only minor criticism we had was that the lighting in the hotel was a bit too bright, which took away from the perfect ambience.

The food served in the restaurant was absolutely incredible. The chefs really know what they're doing and the meal I had was delicious. , the family that runs the hotel/restaurant was very friendly and welcoming, which created a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The rooms at the hotel were quite small. This was a bit of a disappointment, as it made it feel cramped and not as comfortable as I had hoped.

We had an amazing stay at this family-owned hotel. The warm welcome and friendly atmosphere made us feel right at home. The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, which made it easy for us to reach this beautiful southern Belgium city. The restaurant at the hotel was a highlight of our trip. The food prepared by the father and son chefs was absolutely incredible, and the four-course dinner with aperitif and wine was a great value. The service provided by the staff throughout our stay, both at dinner and in general, was excellent. We were also pleased with the hotel's cleanliness and the available facilities.
Nothing not to love.

Over Easter, we stayed at a family-run hotel set in a refurbished old house. We loved the breakfast buffet with a view of the scenic river from the glazed terrace. the hotel is excellently placed for a stroll along the river before dinner, which was beautifully presented and very tasty. the hotel staff was very friendly and offered helpful recommendations.
Our room was uncomfortably small with a bathroom where showering in the bathtub was required, which may not be suitable for elderly or disabled persons. the nearby railway was noisy, although the sounds didn't bother us when the windows were closed.
